  • Introduction:

    The series reactor, which passes an alternating current inside, acts in series with the power factor compensation capacitor and reacts to the steady state harmonics (3rd, 5th, 7th, 11th, 13th ) form a series resonance. The usual reactance is 7% for the 5th-7th harmonics and 13-14% for the 3rd harmonic. Reactors are used where the inductive load is needed and are connected to the system in parallel. They are especially used in the long transmission lines, lighting and to compensate the capacitive, reactive energy produced by UPS's. They are used in the test environments where inductive current is needed.

    Performance Parameters

    1. Can be used in 400V-660V system.

    2. Types of reactance: 5%, 7%, 14%.

    3. Rated insulation level 3kV/min.

    4. Temperature rise limit of each part of the reactor: core not more than 85K, coil

    temperature rise not more than 90K. 5. Noise of the reactor not more than 45dB

    6. The reactor can be operated for a long time under industrial frequency and harmonic

    current not more than 1.35 times the rated current.

    7. Reactance value linearity: the ratio of reactance value under 1.8 times rated current to that under rated current is not less than 0.95.

    8. The difference between the reactance values of any two phases of the three-phase

    reactor is not more than ±3%.

    9. Temperature resistance class H (180 ℃) or above.

    2. Operating ambient temperature -25℃~+45℃, relative humidity not more than 90%.

    3. There is no harmful gas or flammable or explosive materials in the surroundings.

    4. The surrounding environment should have good ventilation conditions, such as installed in the cabinet, should be installed with ventilation equipment.
